Our next Community Song and Dance Leadership Training starts at the end of September in beautiful Herzfeld Sennrüti. This is a unique journey into the art of creating vibrant, heart-centred communities through music, movement and ritual. Rooted in nearly four decades of experience at the Findhorn Ecovillage in Scotland, the training combines practical leadership skills with deep personal transformation, equipping participants to confidently lead songs, dances and community gatherings that foster connection, trust and peace. Through an inspiring blend of experiential learning, mentoring, musicianship, sacred space holding and community-building practices, participants develop the confidence, repertoire and understanding to bring music alive as a pathway to healing, belonging and the Divine—whether in their own communities, organisations or personal lives.
The training is led by Barbara Swetina, stellar musical director of the Findhorn community for nearly 40 years. She is masterful at integrating all levels of experience; no background is required and any skills you have can be fully expressed and developed further. You can participate strictly for your own enrichment, with no desire to lead; and if you do wish to lead or advance your skills in music, holding sacred space, or community building, the training from our experience will be uniquely helpful.
